Dark Designs: Wrath

Panel One:

A small group of dissident Cybertronians, holding pipes as weapons, are surrounded by Quintesson Executioners. They’re trapped.

Dialogue PNL: Cybertronians were a peaceful race -- we knew nothing of war outside of the tales in the Covenant of Primus.

Panel Two:

These same dissident Cybertronians are now in a research facility, being unwillingly tested on by Quintesson Scientists.

Dialogue PNL: Large numbers of us were conscripted into an army. These unwilling recruits were the first of us to have their individuality abused by our Masters.

Panel Three:

A Cybertronian Soldier gleefully receives his blaster from a Quintesson Prosecutor. The soldier is one of many that have been reformatted into a stronger, larger body, built for battle.

Dialogue PNL: New programming was installed, giving them a desire for conflict and an increased appetite for conquest.

Panel Four:

In the background, a large group of these Soldiers charge into battle, some carrying banners with the Quintesson logo on it. In the foreground, aliens of an unknown race flee for their lives as blaster-fire wizzes overhead.

Dialogue PNL: Whilst retaining their freewill, these soldiers relished their new lives -- gleefully ravaging innumerable worlds on behalf of our Quintesson overseers.

Panel Five:

The rebellion is in full-swing as some Cybertronian Workers grapple hand-to-hand with several Quintesson Executioners. In the background, the looming figure of a Guardian Robot can be seen. Several Cybertronians point in panic at the approaching giant.

Dialogue PNL: The rebellion pushed on, but with the soldiers’ passions quelled with the sacking of foreign worlds, their resolve to throw off the shackles wavered.

Panel Six:

Cybertron, as seen from space, with the planetary engines firing. A fleet of ships can be seen in orbit.

Dialogue PNL: Our race had now been cleft in two, and our home world, Cybertron, transformed into a mobile fortress of war.

Dialogue PNL: But greater transformations were still to come.
